
Sophie Nobler is a filmmaker and actor. She began onstage in New York at Ensemble Studio Theater and New York City Players, learning from playwrights Richard Maxwell and Jackie Sibbles Dreary. After studying at the Prague Film School, she started working in film production managing archives at Moxie Firecracker Films and other award winning docs like Obit and Lioness.
Sophie now directs, writes, and produces indie films. She recently traveled back home to New York State to directed the dramatic short Pestle, which is currently running the festival circuit. She wrote and starred in the WhoHaha premiered proof of concept Woman In The Wall.
